need some advice on this.

recently, my maid had requested to return home before her contract ends and she had been with us for slightly more than a year.

i understand that once the work permit is cancelled, our insurance liability will be discharged, may i know if the insurance company will refund the balance unutilised period of insurance.

Hi, for NTUC insurance, once it is over 181 days from the commencement date, no refund given.

You need to check with your insurance company as different company have different policy.

Mostly no refund after 6 months.

Also found out that cancellation after 270 days will not have any refund back.

Doing another insurance refund from a new maid whom had just resign on me.....

She came less than a week and ask for a change of employer!!!!!
