Maid lost jewellery

Anyone had maid who lost gold jewellery from her room? She thinks that workmen who was in the house have stolen it but we have no proof. She was crying her eyes out so feel very sorry for her. Should I make a police report, and possible to claim under maid insurance for stolen maid's belonging?

Perhaps this is a new sob story. :siam: I thought they are not allowed to bring jewellery with them when they come here to work.

I would make a police report and tell her that's all I can do to help.

I offered to take her to police station to make a report, but explaining that without proof very unlikely anything will come out of it. She decided not to make report and said she just has to accept the loss.
