I am helping my maid to make phone call back to her country. But I seems to have problem. and seriously, she really have some communication problem here.

I bought a Pagoda calling card to call oversea. Myanmar country code is 95. So, as usual... calling the number in the card, key in the pin and destination number.

My maid keep telling me the area code is 09, which I really can locate this from the web. Base on the area she stay, Ayeyarwady Region, Hinthada. The area code should be 44 or 044 which I managed to locate from the web. But after trying for so many times and still won't be able to go thru.

I hope some kind soul here can help by advising me whether am I doing the dialling correctly. Frankly, I even try to use my M1 phone by calling it using 021 also won't help.

Ok, here is how I dial. Using calling card. Tel no. + pin + 95-44-xxxxxxxxx.
I am puzzle as she told me some of their number have 10 and some have 9 numerics. Need advise whether am I using the correct numbers.

If she said 09 is her area code, I believe she's calling to the mobile. In that case, she should use 959 as the country and area code.
For calling card, Tel no. + pin + 95-9-xxxxxxxxx.

There are a lot of applications and sites to find out who is calling you or to know which code area belongs to a certain state or country. When I traveled I also had a lot of troubles with the mobile number codes of various countries. I couldn't find the correct and necessary code of the country I wanted to call, so I searched for programs and sites on the internet. I found a site https://www.livesupportrhino.com/5xx-area-code and I'm still using it to know who calls me, to know the number code, location, and even name of the person who called me or whom I want to call.
