BTW, if balloting occurs for those <1km, it is very likely that the number of applicants is equal to the number of people involved in the balloting. People who live more than 1km are likely to be called on to withdraw their applications before the close of the Phase because they can't even join the balloting. In any case, while applying for the school, you should already know if the school will likely be requiring balloting under one of the 3 distance categories.

If single child or only girls in the family, SCGS.

Otherwise, if you have both boys and girls, you will have to decide whether you can tahan the logistics of sending them to different schools. If can’t, PCPS.
