We got accepted, praise the Lord.

They got back to us less than 1 week. The process of the interview was just about 10 mins and here are some of the questions they asked (based on my memory);

- why did we choose RGPS for our daughter
- what area can we contribute (both parent)
- our current job and flexibility in PV (time we have)
- questions on the proposal we submitted

Hope this helps!

Congrats.

Given that there isn't any ballot for RGPS in Phase 2B, I think you are guarantee a place if you can clock the required hours.

Given a choice, I’ll try for all 3.

It’s rarely your choice that matters; it’s whether the schools accept you as their choice (for PV).

if the selection criteria is within 1km of the school,
one cannot have 3 addresses within 1km of all 3 schools.

(NYPS and RGPS - can)

Therein lies the problem.

You could shift next to the school, have your sights set on PV and willing to contribute 160hrs, but as long as the school isn’t interested in you, our choice hardly matters. That said, if have to die-die choose one, Pei Chun will be the easier / better bet.

Hello there!
My girl is born in 2016. I plan to apply as a parent volunteer in st Hilda's primary school. Unfortunately, it is not within 1 or 2 km from my house. Can anyone advise if it is worth to try out ? I prefer my girl to attend a missionary school. 😶 Plus does anyone have tips to gain the role as PV in this school. Thanks
