All KSP Folks applying for 2C

Keep cool and review your plan.
If everything is within expectation, stick to your plan.
If it exceeded your expectation, do you have a backup plan?
If you didn't have a plan, maybe sit back and think through for a moment.

For schools with overflow folks, 2Cs will be another mind blogging exercise to analyse catchment area (it's a tough job) and trying to determine these parents will go for any particular school around that area. If the backup choices has lower in numbers, some folks will be forced to go through another balloting.

Every year, many others have experience the same anxiety and sleepless nights for this registration exercise, everyone here is trying their best for the kids.
Let's not forget registering for school is the 1st step of the primary school learning journey.
With the same spirit and determination, be with the kid in their learning journey will yield result as well.

So keep cool and stay calm.

Well said! :goodpost:

There’s still the morning commutes, homeworks, tests, exams & CCAs that we parents have to go through as well (for the next 6 years)...

I think for HWS parents who have boys, if they withdraw, are likely going to try for SJI Jr as they may be staying within 1 km or 1-2km as it is relatively safer than the 28:114 seats vs applicants in HWS.

Please take into account the ACS parents who are still on the fence today. They will flood SJIJ at the last minute and some SJIJ parents >1 km might not have enough time to activate Plan B.

For me I also can't decide if to take the risk go balloting or settle one that is less popular. I got balloted out in phase 2A2 and I'm scared I can't take the 2nd blow..
If you're within 1km to Keng Cheng, you should be safe. Not sure about the breakdown but don't worry so much about the balloting. There will be enough vacancies in other schools in Phase 2C(S), e.g.: Guang Yang, First Toa Payoh, etc. Don't give up on balloting just because of the failed 2A2.
