Well I am in primary 3 and I used to have that problem. My dad helped me by using Lego pieces to be models. For section B, I suggest drawing a model or creating one. But don't create one all the time. Or else he will be dependant on it. Try to ask him what does he think the answer is first and give him clues to solve the problem. For section C, do the same but a bit differently adding more ways.

my boy is poor in logic, eng n memory.
his math ok in p1 to p3 ard 80. but since p5 fail. sa1 35/100. then 54 sa2
then p6ca1 58.5. now p6sa1 51. despite my coachg n tuitn.
what shd i do.
more tuitn or self coach.
any hope to imprv by prelim n psle

aiyo, psle 1 mth later nia leh. Even if u got gd tutor oso too short timing to improve.

To draw math models to illustrate the math questions is a good way to teach kids the problem sums. Because it visually represents the information in the problem and then kids can easily understand and write down the correct calculations.
