Q & A : P3 maths

Postby ksoh3000 » Thu Oct 10, 2013 9:26 pm

Hi

Can anyone help me with this qn ?

May and Peter saved some money. Each day May saved the same amount and Peter saved $2 more than May. After several days, May saved $48 and Peter saved $64.
(a) How many days did they save?
(b) How much did May save in a day?

Prepping for P3 maths. If I'm wrong pls correct me

64 - 48 = 16

16 / 2 = 8

They saved for 8 days

48 / 8 = 6

Mary saved $6 per day.

cheers
