you can try branching method

Orginal ---->4/10 dresses / --> 6/10 Remainder

Remainder (6/10) --> 7/10 (skirts) = 7/10 x 6/10 = 42/100 of clothes
----------------------->so 3/10 (pants) = 3/10 x 6/10 = 18/100 of clothes

skirts (42/100) - dress (4/10) = 2/100 = 1/50
1 u -> 30
50 u -> 50 x 30 = 1500 (total pieces of clothing)

dresses -> 4/10 x 1500 = 600
others -> 900
75% -> 900
25% -> 900/3 = 300

600-300 = 300 (answer)

Shariman will save $5 more each day since they spend the same amount.

The difference is due to this $5.

$153-$78 = $75
75 / 5 = 15
So they saved 15 days
15 x 10 + 153= 303
303 / 15 = 20.20

Amount he withdrew = $370+$150 = $520
$520 is 40%, Original in the bank is 100%, i.e 520/0.4 = $1300.

a)The saving he left in the bank is 60% of $1300 = 0.6X1300= $780

b) End of the on the month he deposited $1410-$780 = $630
$630 is 30% of his salary. So his salary at 100% will be 630/0.3 = $2100

Let Final box B be B, Final A be A.

A =B+50+20+14 [+50 is from A is 50 more than B. +20 is when B transfer 10 to A and +14 is from C.]
A =B+84
A is also 3 times of B
3B = B+84
2B=84
B=42

A) Original B = B+10=42+10=52
Box C is half of original B= 26

B) Original A =Original B +50 =52+50=102

Altogether = 102+26+52 = 180 oranges
