Dear HAPPYH, yes tutor helps a bit but my kids speak to her in English even though she speaks to them in Tamil. The plus point is that this shows they at least understand the language.

Dear smartmummy. thanks for this. I have just requested to join the group. But I'm intimidated by all the Tamil on the page! How will I understand anything?

Sometimes in Tamil, most of the time discussed in English as convenient to the majority.

they always post in the group. .u can ask help in the group.they will guide u.

u want to try a tutor?i also want to hire a tutor. i die with my son.he is so poor in writing.last sa1 managed to pass.now again i have to go from the beginning.

I just visited their Facebook page. It looks like a gathering point for adult Indians who are interested in all things Indian. This doesn't suit us. We just need our kids to get through Tamil in school.

Can anyone recommend a good Tamil tutor for my two children, one in P4 and one in P2? Need someone who can speak English and Tamil because we are an English-speaking family. Thanks!
