To parents with kids born in 2006: :imcool:

Time to start for our children, who are taking PSLE in 2018, as they move on to the critical P4 next year.

Please free feel to contribute to this thread and lets support one another here. It will be a long 3 years journey ahead. :rahrah: :rahrah:

Hurray! Thank you for creating this thread. Was waiting for someone to create this. Haha...too shy to start.

I think it is a good time to start preparing too...after the holidays. But I have started to source for tuition especially Chinese!

Yes, preparation starts now. And it greatly helps if your DC is taking Higher Mother Tongue.

My DS will be taking his PSLE in 2018 too, and the PSLE Chinese exam format will be changed from 2017 onwards (so our kids will be the second batch to go through it).
The new format is tough ! (had recently attended a talk by a Chinese Enrichment Centre, and the principal shared some sample questions ...)

SkillsFuture...ensuring everyone has a job...and does it with quality and pride...hahaha...and there will be a lot of differentiation in learning I bet.

i think this Skillsfuture thing applies more to the kids from secondary school onwards. at primary level, it's more crucial to see that foundation is laid and firm.
