Hi,

Contemplating to buy or subscribe National Geographic Kids magazine for DS. Any idea whether I can subscribe for the magazine locally? Thanks.

This is not your question, but wanted to tell you that we have the subscription and my kids and I really dislike it. It's full of great pictures, but there are very few details. In fact, my son ends up asking me and I have to look it up on the internet, urrghh.

We took it up as part of a package for joining the Singapore Zoo.

I saw a booth at Compasspoint Atrium.

I did not like the magazine. Same sentiments as Tony.

End up I subscribe to Asian Geographic Junior (or Kids). Facts are simple & straight to the point, large fonts, suitable pictures (not too graphic). Found it more suitable for P1-3 kids, esp P2 kids who are going to do Science in P3 :)

Thank you so much for the feedback, tony and mrswongtuition. Otherwise, may end up wasting $$ :D

The National Geographic Explorer comes in 3 levels for P1 to P6 kids. Subscription can be made through schools. It is colourful and interesting to read. Can also be used to improve English. Check it out at www.NGpioneer.org.
