P6 GEP CA and SA1 mark allocation

Postby davos » Tue May 17, 2011 11:01 pm

Does anyone know what is the weighting for P6 ca and sa1 on English, Chinese, Math and Science this year? Last year it was 50% CA and 50% SA1 for English and Science.

Hi Vlim, may I clarify that CA is made up of CT(60)+DA(40) ? The one which DSA look at is only SA or combine of SA & CA ?

Hi zann,
Yes ca= ct+da.
And the results which DSA is looking at is ca+sa1 of EL, MT, maths and science.

For the Average calculation for DSA, will the CL being taken into the calculation? or HCL will be use? or both will be used? Or if the child is taking both, with there be additional percentage added if the child is doing well for the HCL?

This has been answered in the DSA2015 thread by someone.
http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum ... &start=680

The average calculation for DSA is only CL included as part of the 4 core subjects. HCL is only add on info.

The gep student took both CL and HCL for SA1, but, the student did not take any CA for the CL, so the SA marks will be the 100% for the SA marks?
