Academic support and discussions for GEP
Yes, I do come across my ds reading fairy tale these days. So far no worksheet leh, like you say may be they do in school. Good that we have this forum page to chat about this kind of "common interest", so at least we know what is going on. BTW how your ds find the Math and HCL CT? I look at the test and exam schedule, it seems that there is no oral and listening test for HCL/CL at P4, correct me if I am wrong. How about P5 HCL GE students? Do they also take CL exam amd sit for oral and listening test ?
Do you mean the Math CT and HCL Unit test 2 last week? If so, my DS found them ok. He got back HCL paper already and was able to improve his performance vs Unit test 1, so I am happy.

Is it need 70% to pass? (not 50% rite?) Dd managed to get more than 70% for math. Math is not her forte so quite happy with her results. HCL marks pretty gd. Thk having a great hcl teacher who makes lessons fun helps a lot

In order to maintain his/her GEP status, the child has to achieve an average overall score of 70% for his subjects. Individual subject has to be at least 70% for Math, Science and Social Studies, 65% for English and 50% for Chinese.
However, more than 90% of the GEP students are able to go to their school of choice through DSA.
What I remember from my DS's school briefing is consistent with the above from Kiasulang.
