then you get free training from your DS, and be a sparring partner

my dh always complain that it is very noisy when my ds and I are together especially when discussing abt homework...

i especially enjoy the learning process of the FPSP, becoming their typist along the way for the initial papers

No wonder you know so much about this FPS programme. You are very involved with your kid work, :udaman: I manage to get hold of my DS FSP file, and still barely understood what they are doing. :| :| :| :|

initial papers only lah....they got to do their own work, research, draft their write up, submit for vetting, re-do, circulate among team members for correction .... and watch how they do ..... once in while my house become conference room

Wow not easy. A kid who can get consistently above 80% for all subjects in p5 and p6 GEP should have no problem with the DSA GAT anyway or getting a high score for PSLE.

It's >80% overall average, not >80% for every subject. And yes, these students typically do well for PSLE. That's why schools have confidence in offering them DSA.

Just to clarify - the P4 GEPpers have to select between IvP and FPS by end of this year???

Some schools offer more than just IvP and FPSP. Your child should have received a comprehensive briefing already. Selection and assignment for the RS should be at end of P4.

Oops... looks like I have to discuss this with him soon. I suppose that's why we are invited to attend the IRS exhibit and presentation at Republic Poly...

TwaTau and Jtoh, :thankyou:

Sigh now that DS1's exam is over, DS2 is finding it really hard to get motivated to study for his exams.
He sees his big brother playing all the time and he needs to study...........
