Thot pork bones or pork meat soup is high cholestrol and old folk should avoid. U mean peanut with pork soup get rid of toxic or just peanut soup alone? Thanks.

E.g. some people tell me ginko nuts is really good for brains. This cleaner lady told me that her grandson eats quite a bit of that. If she is telling the truth, her grandson was a president scholar!

Also, groundnut roots help you to grow tall, etc etc. Anyone tried some brain food?

Where can we buy groundnut and how to prepareit? How do I relate it to the hawker in local or dialet name? I may need this for my GEP (must relate to GEP else later got poking fun again) kid, he is really very short. People says he looks like P1. Some say many GEP kids are short.

I have seen the groundnut root being sold in Tiong Bahru Market. And yes, that was what my mum suggest to give to my DS, who is also short, but he make up by doing it sideway. He is P5 but about the height of P2. Maybe you are right about GEP kid being short.

Hhhmmm... My DS consider quite tall for his P4... some people thought he is in P6 already... :?

From your picture (or your husband?) you look tall. Tall man will definitely have tall kids. I have seen short parents with tall (1.65 for daughter and 1.75 for son) kids. Duno what they did or ate?

Hi,

I have a friend who is 1.73m, his son 1.84m. Don't think it has all to do with the food, this boy sleeps very early every night, and eats very little. He is still growing. His mum is about 1.6m.

To grow tall, 3 elements (from my years of research - which may mean nothing :)):
1. Sleep
2. Exercise
3. Diet.

I found it here. Haven't tried this one, but you go ahead and let me know. I plant the peanut roots myself. Just buy a packet of peanuts (those for cooking soup) and then plant them in the pot. You can harvest that in about 2 months. If you stagger that, you can cook this dish every month. :D

This is becoming a wet market forum for the aunties, and of course the uncles as well! And I am guilty of adding to it
