My son also said that the English was a lot of "tough" vocab.

My girl’s report for the papers today-

English was the easier paper. She could manage most of the questions. Some questions that she can remember..
1. Meaning of “ fluctuate”
2. A word that means “ prevent” and “ rod”. ( Bar)
3. A word that means “crate” and “hit” ( Box)

GA - she said the questions were like riddles. There were some questions on anagram that she didn’t have enough time to figure out the answers. ( She managed to get HEART to HATER, CRATE to TRACE. Other words like BAKER, PANEL, FEAST, STEAK she has no time. ) Some questions involves decoding and those were easy. ( like A=1, B= 2)

Two more papers to go tomorrow! Good luck to all!

Hi all,

My DD said that English was manageable although draining.
GAT was a challenge. She had to guess more than half of them.

All the best for tmr! Any idea what kind of questions to expect?

Last year's maths was tough - a lot of them ran out of time so it's a good idea to remind them to keep and eye on the clock. And if they are down to the last 5 mins, just guess the remaining questions. You never know!
