Recommendable Childcare/Preschool in Simei

Postby Mylittletrumpet » Wed Sep 19, 2012 2:00 pm

Hi all mummies out there,

I am new to this Forum. Just wanted to find out whether there are good and recommendable childcare centres/preschool around Simei area? As Simei is really a small town, there isn't really much choices to start with. I read from MCYS website to select a childcare centre with a licence tenure of 24 months. A 24-month licence indicates a centre with a high standard of care while a 12-month licence is issued for meeting the minimum standard.

I have done my own research and selected a list of childcare based on a 24 months licence tenure and hope someone can help give a feedback:

1) My World @ Simei;
2) My First Skool;
3) Eileen's Childcare Centre Pte Ltd;
4) Moriah Child Care & Development Centre; and
5) Star Learners @ Simei

TIA!

Hihi,

I saw Maris Kidz school house in the listing under MCYS website but it only has a licence tenure of 6 months so I am not considering that. My boy is only 11 months but I am already looking around hoping to find somewhere good so that he can progress to N1, N2 and so on from the same childcare center.

For me, I prefer a childcare center which is non-aircon with inhouse cooked food rather than catering. I will check on the teacher:child ratio too.

I am actually quite keen on Eileen's Childcare Center but have not find out more yet.

Keep me updated if you do have any findings! :smile:
