Buying milk powder in Malaysia

hi there ... wondering if any parents here buy their kid's milk powder in malaysia?

heard from friends that its much cheaper ... country of production and contents are same as sg

They are indeed cheaper. But the contents are slightly different. Have to really compare every item in the ingredient and the % then u will see the slight difference.

Yes very different. Went on a holiday once with DD to Malaysia and ran out of milk powder. So bought 1 tin in Malaysia thinking it is the same but DD refuse to touch that bottle of milk saying it is not the same milk.

Errr... agree.. content is different.. *no offence to Malaysia's products*..

Think is cheaper.. thus not only FM.. all others are also different.. :sweat:

They are more same than different. Maybe even better, look at the amt of malaysian working here and beating locals to openings.

If want to be safe, buy those brands that also be found in Singapore e.g. Friso and Mamil Gold. I bought it quite a number of times, so far no problem.

tried with my son and he drinks up as per normal ... So far so good
