Long eyelashes

My 2yo has long eyelashes, especially towards the end of the eye. On a few occasions when she was rubbing her eyes, the eyelashes went into her eye. When I pulled the top and bottom part of the eye, the eyelashes will pop out and her eye was not irritated.

Does any parent encounter this before?

I'm considering should I see a GP to get her lashes trim.

Don't go to the GP. Best time to trim a child's eye lashes, if you really want to, is when they are sound asleep. Use a pair of scissors with blunt tip. In swift motion just snip snip quick quick and be done. My aunt used to do this for her firstborn - but not for the second one... by then, she realised that it irritated her more than it did the child. So she left them alone.

please do your best not to trim your child's eyelashes just because they are long. many children grow up into teens longing for nice long lashes like these.
keep them the way they are, in fact, prevent your child frm rubbing their eyes too often instead.

Agree with neosan60. when they get older, they would love to have those long eyelashes.
