This holiday programme is a 5-day trial student care programme rolled out for Primary 1 to Primary 4 students from Singapore schools looking to improve their reading and spelling skills. Our in-house learning specialists will strengthen students’ reading and spelling skills through phonics and other multi-sensory methods such as songs and games! Students will also be taught high frequency words/ sight words through one story a day.

1.30 – 2.30pm Warm-up Songs* / Review / New Sounds / Games
2.30 – 3.00pm Spelling / Dictation* / Worksheets
3.00 – 3.30pm Tea-break
3.30 – 4.30pm Review / New Words / Reading / Games / Spelling / Worksheets
4.30 – 5.15pm Art & Craft
5.15 – 5.30pm Recap and Summarise

*For selected groups only


Students who attend the 5-day programme will benefit from learning new words (including vocabulary) and new sounds, especially if they do not have a strong background in phonics. We also ensure quality teaching through a maximum teacher to student ratio of 1:10. For students familiar with phonics, the programme will serve to reinforce their reading and spelling skills.

At the end of the trial programme, parents will receive a short report on their child’s progress and reading and spelling skills.
