Any of you used this method on your child? Is it effective?

Hi Janetlp, although i did not use this mtd, i believe this is also an effective way of teaching a young child to read. I've 2 friends with kids from 2 different kindergartens. Both these 2 kindy adopt the Spalding mtd in teachin a child to read. So far, both my friends' gals are reading quite well. Both are P1 and K2 respectively.

Hope this helps : )
