Heyya all,

[Phonics Snap - Memory Game]
This set of flashcards is nice to play to promote
fun learning of phonics through memory game.

Image

It also comes with a spell guide, like for you to
check all the possible words that can be made
with all the cards.

I had fun playing this with my girls and my
early readers' students! So, thought wud be
good to share with everyone here, since there
has been quite a few posts relating to challenges
posed in learning phonics.

The same kind of cards also has extensions for
blends and digraphs stage. This one is mostly
3-letter phonetic stage and a few blends like st,
sh, ch.. etc.

Remember, learning shud inspire not perspire.
Hee! I always try to remind myself that when
it gets frustrating sometimes... so that i snap
out of frustration mode. :stupid:

More learning aides coming up...
Enjoy.

Snakey Alphabet Puzzle

Postby buds » Fri Feb 06, 2009 3:45 pm

Heyya guys,

Puzzles can be good for early introduction to phonetic sounds.
This one for example can be used for children 3 years old and
above. Dun recommend any younger than that cos they make
have too short an attention span to fix a-z in its proper order.
Plus this version is not exactly the direct fix kind. It requires
more thought put into completing the entire puzzle in sequence.

Great for visual learners / with spatial intelligence.
They'll appreciate puzzles a lot!

[Howard Gardner : Spatial Intelligence]
"Spatial functioning is a mental process which is associated with the brains attempts to interpret certain types of incoming information. This information is basically anything visual - pictures, maps, plans etc. While other types of intelligence (such as mathematical ability) are historically esteemed by society, spatial ability is probably and silently the most vital aspect of the humans mental capabilities.

Without the ability to comprehend and interpret visual information something as apparently straightforward as remembering how to get to the front door of our house (from the living room!) would be beyond us."

Heyya Addoil,

S$13.90 is for the phonics snap card..

The puzzle is S$15.00.
I'm selling it off.
My girls dun play with it any more.
Still relatively new.

If anyone interested, can respond to
my trading post, ok. Cannot side
track or spam here. Buy & sell @
Trading Post only ok. Tks.

Later, Chief angry... :x
So, i cannot spoil market.

PS : Addoil, mebbe what you wanted to say was "tempted",
