Hi parents, jus sharing my view on Lcentral Serangoon. I switched my girl from I can Read to LCentral since end 2018 as I wasnt seeing any improvement after 1year+ at I can read. My girl is currently K2 and she is in the liftoff program. On a whole, I feel that my daughter has definitely improved in her reading and word recognition. She can read in complete sentences and no longer read word by word and she is able to understand the story. I'm happy with the result at Lcentral thus far and will also send my younger son to Lcentral next year.

My boy is taking Liftoff program there, he is K1 as well. The teacher is very good, from UK, very patient and very proactive in giving feedback to parents. My boy now is able to read a 15 lines story by himeself already. I can see the progress in the past 1 year.

For a term, which is 3 months

Weekday: 585 per term
Weekend: 660 per term

My son who‘s in k2 now went for a free assessment at the LC @tampines cpf building yesterday and he was actually put under launchpad. But im still indecisive ..wondering if its worth to enroll him there. My son kinda struggle when he needs to read instructions everytime when he does his homework. I was hoping that by enrolling him at the LC, it will somehow helps him improve in his reading. I appreciate any feedback about LC at the tampines branch. And how does this referral code works? how do I get one? TIA:)

I brought my son to Tampines to do the assessment as well, not very impressive by the teacher there. And my friend recommended me her daughter teacher at Marine Parade center, and I brought my boy there for a free trial class and the little likes the teacher! After that I heard that the 2 teachers there are quite popular there. So now every week I travelled from Tampines to Marine Parade for the class and I feel it’s worth it.
