My son was in their gifted class. It not really for gifted kids, rather its just a terminology used for 3 hours class. He left 2 years ago.

Materials - very good.
Class size - a big minus.
Environment - Not very condusive - very crampy.
Teachers - Not bad
Culture - Not bad

hi sydney

so now where does ur child go for chinese compo?

seems like china centres are like that, very poor in packaging.
i hv seen materials from Han lang, Hua lang, tien hsia,
they seem quite simple.
actually my girl now wif HCL. their language is more powerful that the centres i mentioned above. got standard. class size not very big. just that hv to memorise entire sentences for the opening n ending. quite siong. and entire mth is on same topic eg 我知错了. a bit boring. n the materials dont look so nice. i think for kids who can take it, its good cos the phrases are more powerful.

now still sourcing...

Well, I have friends whose kids are doing well because of Jiang Educational Centre... I guess the teachers & materials are not bad.

I m thinking of putting my p1 child in jiang education. M wondering if 3 hours is too taxing? Are the lessons interesting? Not sure if i should put my child in jiang straight from p1 or start him off with berries first, and then jiang when he is p3 or p4. Can someone please give your feedback and views on jiang. :D
