Hi there,

Please refer to my post in the topic of 'Comparing Chinese Enrichment Programmes' recently. The teacher I recomended teaches 1 to 1 for Secondary students as well.

How is XUEHUILE by Mind Stretcher ? Heard they use a group of Chinese native teachers who are ex-school teachers.

Any one try them before? There is a branch at Clementi Mall.

Well I am a Sec 2 student and I love Chinese so I decided to join Hwa Chong Insitution. I feel that Chinese is an important subject as China has the biggest population in the world , so not being able to communicate with them won't help in most of the careers in the future. Ways of improving is to read newspapers daily for expansion of Chinese vocabulary, comprehension, grammar and general knowledge. Improvement is seen when one is able to understand the Chinese articles. I don't really think Chinese enrichment will help because it might just follow the textbook and your vocabulary is limited so reading books and newspapers helps to expan even more. Most of my classmates do not go for enrichment programmes but still do very well for their exams.

Hi. Would like to get feedback on 江老师教学中心 and 汪老师学园 on their secondary school HCL classes. Did yr teenager find the lessons engaging and useful?

Beside these 2, any tuition centres to recommend? Prefer small group tuition. I’m staying in the east. Thks.
