Blindfold reading....Anyone heard of this?

Postby darlingbabe » Fri Oct 22, 2010 10:15 am

Dear all,

I came across a promotional brochure that advocates opening of right brain and even mid-brain.
After going thru one-and-half-day course, most of the kids can read whatever is written from a text or handwritten scipts, blind-folded! Some can even predict the future, ride a bicycle blind-folded and tell you the correct poker card blind-folded!

Is this ESP? What do the trainers do during the course (parents not allowed to sit-in)?

Anyone has any scientific/logical explanations for these strange phenomenon?

They claim to activate "hidden" capbilities in our children's minds.

How true, you need to judge for yourself.

I'd think carefully about allowing someone to mess with my child's mind on something as controversial as this without seeing or understanding what goes on. My challenge would be for them to try it on myself and lets see what happens.......

But why do you want such powers? Life will never be normal again.

I suppose the only benefit is no need to sit for PSLE cos can visualise the questions beforehand and for oral exams can peek at the results immediately!

:rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Honestly, such powers usually end up in "circus" performance because people wants to see it as a performance, but remember hor, it drains the brain badly and a person tires out.
