Looks like everything is about flash cards and right brain training now... Is it too stressful for the kids?

Hi stressfulparenting, i saw Sparkanauts at the Smartkidsasia expo last week and spoke to the person there. They have trial class at a cheaper rate which they will refund you if you continue with them after that. They do flashcards and other games in a lively environment. Their conversion after their trial is quite high. So maybe the trial is worth a go! :)

Thanks for the info. Will check it out.

My 22 months old started his first lesson at shicida last weekend. I thought he will be doing fine as he has been to childcare since March. To my surprise, he started crying before class started and throughout the first 30 mins. Teacher asked me to bring him out but I refused. I know if I bring him out, I want be able to put him back to class. So I carried him and stood at the back.
Thank goodness. He calmed down in the 2nd half of the session. Smiling and running around . He loves the flash cards and singing session and I can see he can focus during these sessions. However he is not interested in other activities.
I am worried he will be crying again next week. I feel so guilty as he has disturb other kids.
What can I do at home or before class next week so that he won't cry and throw tantrum again?
