There is a Parent-Child workshop at Science Centre and Tanjong Pagar Community Club for the month of May and June.
Got to email science centre or digital_maker@imda.gov.sg respectively to find out more details.

Why don't you ask Science Centre the target age group?

Based on the need to understand the functionality of the microbit, which is like a mini computer, with accelerometer, buttons, LED, bluetooth, radio, temperature etc all built into it, younger kids may not understand or appreciate it enough to build something with it. But since it is a parent-child workshop, the parent can guide and explain it to the child, and maybe build something useful together. They are using block-based platform to program it.

To anyone interested, the organizer has shared that 'the suitable age group for Micro:bit workshop is 8 years old and above. However if your child younger but has interest in programming, he/she is welcome to join us for this programme.'. fyi only.
