Now Fairprice Online is charging $3.99 for picking and packing on top of increasing minimum order to $79 (was it $40 before covid?) for free delivery. I don't understand this. I thought it is a co-operative. The whole nation is suffering. Why now must charge additional fee? To maintain profit margin?
is it because they need to increase manpower due to overwhelming incoming orders?
But for each product, there is already a margin, right? And this margin should have taken into account all costs.

Even when they have to increase manpower, the orders are also increased so their profits also increased.

If they think that the store sales is reduced due to CB but still have to pay the store rent so they compensate it by adding picking and packing charge for online delivery, I think they have no compassion and only think on how to maintain their profits.
Need to:
1. Reduce demand and small orders
2. Increase manpower and staffing to manage increased orders

It's a cooperative, but it's not a charitable organisation.

Things in ntuc are not that cheap.

With more measures being implemented, am making more trips to ntuc during the weekdays when I go work or after work.

I cannot do bulk purchase bec am alone.
