Electric Lunch box

Postby CarrotTree » Wed May 13, 2015 6:19 pm

Hi, I am keen to get a reasonable better 2-tier electric lunch box to cook rice, a soup and steaming egg. Anyone already using a 2-tier one and find it good?
I was told that the Morris brand type takes a long time to cook. Is this true and can share your experience

thanks :thankyou:

I have a 3-tier cheapo China-made one that costs about $60. Works well and can cook rice in about 20 mins.

Not sure about the Morris brand.

I bought this not too long ago at $50. Think you can find cheaper ones online. So far works ok. About 20mins for rice.

Funz,
Can teach me how to cook rice. got a small one 3 tier.
But no measuring cup for rice.
I tried using the primitive method, finger tip measurement, does not work. Turn out porridge
Used it to steam ginger sesame chicken mid wings, very yummy n moist

Oh boy. Very sorry, I don't think I can help here. The one I bought comes with a measuring cup and the salesperson told us 1 cup of water for 1 cup of rice in the pot and I think 2 cups of water into the base.

May I know where to get this? Available in departmental stores?
