I just need a hp that allows me to surf internet, make and receive calls, WA, LINE, take photos occasionally

Then I would suggest iPhone 8 / 8+ instead.
Cheaper and does about everything similar. You can still hang around and wait for the next iteration of iPhone X in about 2 years time.

to me, iphone must have home button...otherwise i won't know how to use it.
the iphone X features are different from the usual ones, so it would require some re-learning which doesn't make sense to me.

my usage of iphone is similar to starlight.

Too expensive.I'm an apple fan though. I still have my iPhone 6s+ and so far it's been doing great. No issues yet since I bought it when it was first released. ;)
