I need help,O Level eng fail,special case

today i just gotten my O level result.I fail my english...with E8...
so i am not eligible for Poly.
But my teacher told me that my result is a special case as i am eligible for
JC and ITE but not poly...

so basically is 3A,3B and a E8...
L1R5 is 13,can i study JC? because the paper stated that i am eligible for

If your result slip states that you are eligible for JC, then you can apply for JC or MI. However, do note that there is a condition

Look under "Conditional Admission to Junior Colleges and Millennia Institute" (page 27)

I think is worth signing up for JC, and sit for O level English again at end of the year. If you get below C6, you can still transfer to MI or Poly (should you improve your grade to D7)

Alternatively, if you want to go Poly, you can call each poly and tell them about your situation and ask whether you can apply via Joint Polytechnic
Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE) , which is for students with special talents and aptitude.

The education option in Singapore is amazing...I learn another option to JC is MI where business stream is offered on top of Arts and Sciences.

i have submitted my choice of school,jc,based on the distance from my home XDD

But there is just one more question,when do i need to register for the
retaking of O level english 2014@@?
Will my future jc register for me or i need to register myself?

Hi Elrek01, I also wish to know. It seems you are very strong in Maths and Science, except maybe English composition not "powerful" enough.

Since entry to JC only requires using one language to calculate the L1R5, by the score definitely can get in. But no one seemed to advise you that English GP is compulsory in JC??? How did you survive that? Any exemption?
