It was a pity we did not take the dinner pic at Mrs.Brown ytd.
The starter I had was beetroot, cured cod, cream cheese. Simple, yet so pleasing to the eyes. Imagine 3 to 4 pieces of ping pong sized beetroot, a round translucent cross section of cod (almost as big as the frozen Canadian scallop available in NTUC) and a dollop of cream cheese, topped with crispy I-dunno-what (better than our pork floss). These 3 items in a square shallow plate which is filled with a thin layer of thicken beetroot juice, shining.
The beetroot is soft and sweet, the cod is light n gives me a melt in the mouth feel, the cream cheese is smooth n not jelak.
The hotel we staying in tonight is Plaza Hotel, a short walk from the Eskilstuna train station, again no air conditioning. We were told to open the window for the cool wind to blow inside the room. But hor, our room is at 2nd storey and there is a bus stop opposite (a 2 lane road) and a traffic junction just a stone's throw away. Very noisy.

Hubby uses CANON DSLR, but he says the lens is a more deciding factor than the camera.
