USA local tours

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

I bought a very cheap and light stroller when I brought my kids to the US and threw it away after that. Because many of the places I went, I had to park the stroller somewhere else - out of my sight.

Noted with thanks:)

Hi MMM,

Cld you share more on the accommodation in LA, LV and SF for your family of 5 pls? I hv 3 kids all below 10 and it's difficult to find hotels accommodating 5 of us in 1 room.

Btw,which car rental company did you go for?

If you're keen on inexpensive tours in the US (e.g. Washington DC), check out Free Tours by Foot. They provide free tours (well, free, but you can tip your guide however much you want). They're professional and fun. If you're keen, check out their website ahead of time since they have limited slots per tour and these go pretty quickly.
