If a child scores Dist & HD, is he likely to get A*, likewise, does scoring Credit or Merit translate to a A or lower grade in PSLE?

Based on my kids' past experience, I don't see any co relation between UNSW and PSLE results. My DS can score HD for UNSW Maths but just an A for PSLE Maths. We take it as good practice n exposure to external set questions.
Thanks for sharing, Zbear.
DD1 didn't do well in one of the ICAS paper this year and I was a bit worried as her PSLE is next year.

Don't worry lee_yl, my dd got credit for those papers but yet could still scored A* for her Psle.

Thanks for the info.
Congrats on your girl's excellent result!

The teacher finally responded. He has a distinction for english and the school will present the certificate to him on children's day celebration. :rahrah:
wah that is nice gesture of the school! congrats! my girl is only in P2 so she still has a long way to go.... moreover, I understand that this has no direct correlation to the normal test/exam heeheheh

High Distinction(top 1%), Distinction(next 10%), Credit(next 25%), Merit (next 10%), Participation (all remaining participants)
