Update for those DM-ing me about city centre classes for 2019:

My location in city centre is Waterloo Centre (next to Bras Basah MRT)

I have finally put together a tentative schedule for 2019. If keen, please add me to WhatsApp 8 1 1 8 6 9 4 8 and inform me there with the following details: child’s name, level & school, class interested in.

We also have ongoing classes at my centre in Jurong west - DM me if keen and I will send a schedule.

Waterloo centre 2019 - Wednesday
P2 English: 3-4.30
P3/4 English: 5-6.30
P5/6 (English PSLE prep): 7-8.30 (last 3 spots)

at the moment, no p1 classes in Waterloo centre for 2019

We cover all exam components - compo, situational writing, strong focus on writing and functional writing using various works of literature, both fiction and non-fiction. You can have a glimpse of what we do at http://www.instagram.com/helloteachermel
All students receive individual attention for compo tips, our lessons are highly customised, no class is exactly alike. Feel free to call any time to discuss.

Anyone tried TLL's P6 English Composition Excellence Workshop? It's a 10-weeks programme starting in February. Thinking of letting my girl attend but fees are ex.
New students: $825.00*^ + GST
Existing students (10% discount): $742.50*+ GST

When I tried to help my son writing essays, I just surfed the Web in a search of some kind of list of expressions. For example, this is a very useful article on this topic: https://homework-lab.com/study-tips/tra ... ish-guide/ It will definitely help. Also you can check out their lessons. They help doing homework! So we like to use this service

If you are staying in Jurong West, you may consider my dd1's ex-tutor, Miss Goh. She is very experienced, knows what areas to focus on and explains clearly. She can be contacted at 93989072.

Contacted them but they are not willing to disclose prior to assessment with Ms Trinity. Am hesitant to fix an appointment as I feel that it is pointless to attend the assessment if the fees are beyond our expectations.
DD attended the writing class for 2 years but I withdraw her already. My dd is an avid reader and always scored well for English paper 2 but somehow did not do well for paper 1 last time so I sent her to Writers’ Guild. After one year there, she is the top scorer in her class. I was super happy to see her so proud and her English composition result was consistently high the next year. Problem is her Chinese result was really jialat, so no choice, I pulled her out of the English writing class and put her in another Chinese writing class and an additional Chinese general class. DD was angry with me that time cos she likes her class at Writers’ Guild. Aiyo I only have limited resources and PSLE is about T-score so I must prioritize. Heard from my friend whose child is still there that by right talented writers like my dd will get to go through a different intensive programme for competition training and they have a track record of students winning national writing competition. But I feel PSLE is more important so dd must score well for both languages. For u, I think there is no harm going for the assessment to see if it is suitable for your child.
