Hello, generous people of the East! Food donations are welcome at Marine Parade NTUC at 6 Marine Parade Central from today till 12 May. 🙂 All donations collected will be used to support Food from the Heart's beneficiaries, special thanks to National Institute of Education (NIE) for the efforts this weekend and the next. Alternatively, you can drop your donations off at our warehouse at 130 Joo Seng Road instead. Help us pile those donations up!

One thing about charity these days is you wonder if it is really for charity or it is for profit? Recently, this so called charity foundation send out leaflet asking for donation of stuff stating it is for elderly. When we donated carton boxes, they say they don't want. What's wrong with carton box? You can sell and collect the money for charity use. Is it the amount not BIG enough and that is why you don't want to waste time collecting? Gave up on donating.

Agreed! Not all charity institutions are really helping those who are in need. Some are doing it for business, for money and for personal gain. Sometimes it's best to help directly to those in need than putting your money to these institutions.
