Tanjong Katong Primary

There's nothing quite like being able to discuss issues and network with other parents with children in the same school as yours. Individual Schools' Official Parent Support Groups are welcome to come in and help out the incoming groups of parents.

Enlightened Hand Learning Hub is the only student care I know of which still offers before school care. They are at Changi Road, walking distance to Eunos MRT. They do have a website. Try to google them.

Hi Everyone

I am a newbie here and have spent a long time reading through most of the posts discussed on this TKPS forum.
Thank you to each and everyone for the information shared. Very helpful indeed.

My son will be going for P1 2020 intake and we are considering TKPS for him.
We are Singaporean PR and want a balanced co-ed school for him.

I believe the school will move to the old / newly furbished campus in Jan 2020.
Even though we are not in the Marine Parade GRC we will the school distance will be a small price to pay for a good fit.

I will be very grateful for any responses to this post regarding the below questions:

1) How is the current spirit in the school in relation to the teachers attitude and response to the students?

2) Is the student ratio a true mix of nationalities and backgrounds as their website suggests?

3) Are the CCAs still a balanced focus along with academics?

4) Anyone can share the bus operators number so we can check our distance accurately (we are in the Bendemeer area)

5) Are the chances for PR still comfortable in the 2C stage?

6) Will the school be a single session school in 2020?

Thank you so much in advance!

I have a friend whose child went in last year. He is now P1 there. She says the environment is good, teachers are understanding. She says children can still enjoy their childhood there haha but only thing is you want a more academic rigorous environment, then of course you cannot beat schools like Tao Nan.

The school will be single session next year- updated in the school website. I'm keen to know on no. (2) too but i guess every year the student mix for that level will be different. it depends on that year's registration result.
