Choosing the Right Doctor in SG

  • Quote

Post by tancecilia » Wed Nov 18, 2020 4:47 pm

I used to find doctor reviews from this local site (DoctorxDentist), but they say they’re closing it down. Hello SG Mommies, do you have any other ways to check which doctors are good or any other place to read reviews? I want to be very careful with my choices since it is for my child’s wellbeing. (For your information, my daughter is 2 Years Old).
Tks.

For reviews, Sadly I think it is very hard to check in SG as there are no platforms I remember that collects patient reviews. Usually, I’ll get recommendations from the word of mouth or my friends.

If financially comfortable, better to seek 2nd or even 3rd opinion before making important decision such as surgery. Word of mouth is still most widely used.

Personally I ask recommendations from my GP or my family, friends and officemates. Some clinics also have Google listings (they have reviews there from previous patients) and also reviews on social media pages.

Ooh, there is one local site named DoctorxDentist that collects patient reviews. I went to find an ENT doctor for my son there. Hope this will help!

Yes, actually that is the site that I used before to read, but I heard they are delisting the doctors :(

Ikr.. yes, I'm still looking for the most convincing one tho. If you happen to have any recommendation for a paediatric doctor that would help. Thanks! ^^

Actually, i have some recommendations in hands already, but i just don't know which fits me best. If you don't mind can you share the link of the clinics? Thank you in advance! :)
