My hub also said the same thing, stay at home.

If you are worried, choose to shop during off peak hours, or wear double masks !! Dining-in need to remove mask, high risk, you can dabao home.
If must use public toilet, do not remove mask inside cubicle.
I always try not to go public toilet. Go shopping generally is safe but multiple trips to fitting room then different issue hor  yesterday I reached home quite late already sk spray sanitizer onto my hair..at night while talking to dh..I say I better go wash hair lor, after the kids sleep haha..Half an hour grace is good then dont need look see look see.
Now is the best time to shop, before tourists, businessmen etc from high risk countries flood in.
Do not remove mask when inside fitting room?
Aiyo, so many hours have passed you still worried about your hair. Don’t lah, Paranoid/OCD is a mental problem leh, you must relax!
Yalor will be bad de..a type of mental problem as a result of covid. Even tho fully vacc, personally I don't think I could feel so as ease like near to normal liao. I never take off mask..but clothes likely tried by other ppl le.. own clothes would have touched the floor and the wall/hook etc.

Yesterday gal says they only half 1 qtr last year to see face of all classmates.. and she thinks they won't be able to see each other's face till graduation liao.

Oh es, a better time to shop now really..yesterday after office hr not many ppl also.

Haha leeyl, now that you mentioned, I think I better take note liao. For past 1.5years my kids touched the lift button less than 5 times and my hair when go out, will be like those with very little chance of 'flying' around one :faint:

Speaking of not seeing friends’ face cos covered by masks, I once asked DS how did they recognize each other when doing CCA Orientation with masks on…I think they played a memory game with the new recruits’ names while going round in a circle…he said can recognize by the masks & voice etc.

Recently I bumped into a fellow mummy of DS’ kindergarten classmate…we hadn’t seen each other since 2016, neither had we seen each other with mask on before…I was totally surprised we could recognize each other when just walking past each other in a mall (no, our kids were not with us either!)

If met few times already usually can recognise. By body shape, hairstyle, eyes or like Zac by voice. Now with mask on I believe most of them know each other. Just that the feeling of not able to see whole face, something that is so natural and probably many of us taking for granted last time. And when you go to Secondary level, there will be new faces. I did tell dd maybe during zoom then can see their faces..

I did joke with dd, if anyone were to go for eye plastic surgery in the future maybe difficult to recognise tho.

Hi ladies,
How are all of you?

Haven’t login for a long time.

With covid, new clusters and wearing that mask, I’ve been staying indoors. It can be frustrating being cooped up at home. Yesterday, we had our dinner at PS kopitiam. Didn’t realize how expensive things are. Stuff on shopee are more affordable.

Even moon cakes are costly! Wanted to get 美心 moon cakes, but it’s like $56 for a box of 4!
Really became mountain tortoise being at home
I try not to frequent public toilets. When trying clothes, I would remove mask if the trying room is completely walled up. Once home, it’s straight to the toilet for a bath.
