May i know the following answer? Is it taught or teach? May I also know the rule?

From our previous encounters with the family, we saw that the parent often __________ the pups how to fish.
This qn looks familiar. Mind sharing which paper it’s from? What does the answer sheet say?

I think it should be “taught” (past tense) because the clue is “previous encounters” and “saw”.

There is a question I am unclear. Maybe anyone here can comment on it:

Should the answer be :

(A) The boy will cancel the party unless it rains.

OR

(B) The boy will not cancel the party unless it rains.

(B) The boy will not cancel the party unless it rains.
(B) The boy will not cancel the party unless it rains.

- this is more logical because usually if it rains, people will have to cancel (outdoor) parties.

- I can’t think of a scenario for situation A, where he will definitely cancel the party in good weather, but if it rains then party goes on? What kind of party would that be? Dancing in the rain party?

A rain party perhaps. Food for thought.

Dear fellow parents, we are desperately seeking a English tutor recommendation for our son. Please kindly PM if you have any good experience with one and is happy to recommend us to him/her. Thank you so much.
