NTU: At the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, we offer a four-year Bachelor of Communication Studies programme for undergraduates interested in majoring in Strategic Communication, Broadcast Media & Cinema Studies, Data Science and Media Studies and/or in Journalism and Media Policies.

Students have the flexibility to specialise in one or more tracks or decide to develop themselves as broad-based communication graduates. With the most comprehensive curriculum, you will graduate with a strong balance of practical and conceptual skills, highly sorted for by future employers.

Congratulations :rahrah: to your dd for getting her desired course.
So likely which Uni is she going to choose?
Mine waiting for nus Sch of computing , smu early early offered, we had received marketing gifts for students as well as marketing letter specially addressed to parents, their marketing dept very ON to seal the deal.
not sure whether other nus popular courses results out already ?

I have no knowledge of mass comm, nus or ntu what’s the diff.
If I remember correctly, NTU Mass Comm is ranked no. 5 and NUS is 21 globally.

I believe the one in NUS belongs to the FASS. Your child will get into that faculty before selecting the major that he is keen to take up.

Pick NUS CHS/FASS if you want the widest options of second majors and minors.

Hi, will like to find out if there is any feedback on the NUS E-scholar programme. Understand it is a pretty new programme and as it is an accelerated programme, is it stressful? 🙏

My DS just completed his first year in E-Scholars programme and now is having his break.

So far he is ok. But heard from him some may extend their 3-year bachelor degree (accelerated) to 4 years (normal programme as they find it tough.

NUS allows them to and remain in the E-Scholars programme. But unlikely NUS will fund them for their masters degree.

Thank you! Considering whether to do a double degree instead of aiming for Masters in year 4.
