Thanks, ZacK. It is interesting that most of the people that complain about parents "stressing" their kids in Primary school probably don't have children of that similar age . I know because I was once one of these people .ZacK wrote:Hahaha... KSP being mentioned in Asiaone lol.

Lol... My wife just told me that the next big thing is not primary tuition, but pre-school tuition classes! This is really "stress parenting" :!:
Hey CKS, so one of the benefits of you setting up the forum is that it makes you more "zai" and not be a "gancheong" parent
In any case I thought the article will help to drive more "gancheong" parents to our forum

Then the P1 standard will be tougher (may be become P3?) in future since most of the children are well prepared toward P1/P2 standard before they enter the Primary school.ZacK wrote:Lol... Yes, it may make CKS more zai, but the byproduct is that it made lots of other parents more kancheong after reading some of the threads here. Don't know about you, but when I read k1 kids are reading Roald Dahl or Harry Porter series, I tio stressed already, keke.ZacK wrote: Hey CKS, so one of the benefits of you setting up the forum is that it makes you more "zai" and not be a "gancheong" parent

If it's any consolation for you, my P5 son has not read any of the Roald Dahl or Harry Porter series because they were "boring" to him. This "lapse" didn't affect his writing capability, though . So you can relaxmarkfch wrote:Yes, it may make CKS more zai, but the byproduct is that it made lots of other parents more kancheong after reading some of the threads here.
