Sony has shared pre-order and pricing information of its new Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 10 IV phones.


The Xperia 1 IV will be available in Black and Purple at Sony retail and online stores from June 2022 at a recommended retail price of S$1,969. Customers who place a pre-order from now till 31 May will receive a SRS-RA3000 Premium Wireless Speaker with 360 Sound (worth S$449).


The Xperia 10 IV in Black and Mint will be available at Sony retail and online stores from June 2022 at a recommended retail price of S$679. Customers who place a pre order from now till 31 May 2022 will receive a WF-SP800N Truly Wireless Noise-Cancelling Sports Headphones (worth S$299).

I think I've used a Sony handphone a looong time ago. I believed I liked it, but I then I preferred Samsung's offering in its Note series and never looked at Sony again. I think Sony's key focus is still on the camera features, and I think, reading somewhere, that it is the first to have a PHYSICAL zoom feature in a phone. Impressive for a R&D team many times smaller than Samsung's.
