Anderson Primary

There's nothing quite like being able to discuss issues and network with other parents with children in the same school as yours. Individual Schools' Official Parent Support Groups are welcome to come in and help out the incoming groups of parents.

This is the Parents' Networking Group for Anderson Primary.

Once you have gotten your child into this school, come introduce yourself to other parents in this school and network with each other. Share tips, on-going news and alerts and discuss issues pertaining to the school.

I think in term of IT, Anderson consider quite good... They are registered under CERTIPORT scheme for Microsoft Project
And those selected into the IT SPARX program, will be trained for Flash programming, Dreamweaver, etc.

Basically by end of P2, there will be selection process for the 'Talent Development Program' called IMAS2
This will consist of IT, Music, Arts, Sports and Social Action.
The children will be trained based on the selection criteria all the way to P6.

Hope this help...

Ok thanks...what was the 2008 results? How about the teachers and management, are the kind that is very results driven, is the school stressful? Sorry to ask so many questions, want to make sure it is the right school for my friend's kid.

Need to check for 2008 result...

Should not be very stressful as my son normally finish his homework in school... so, he did not have much homework at home... as compared to his current school (Catholic High) which is GEP, he need to finish a lot of homework which can't finish at school...

As for results drive, or how is the teachers, etc, all depend on luck... some good school will have 'so so' teacher... or 'so so' school got very good teacher...

I'm checking for someone. There isn't any 2009 PSLE results posted on Anderson Primary website. Anybody has the results to share? Another qs: on the website it says 100% passed for merged stream. What does it mean?
