Hi, can someone help with this question?

Maia had 2064 more beads than Jenny. After Maia used 144 beads to make a necklace, she has 5 times as many beads as Jenny.

a) How many more beads Maia have more than Jenny in the end?

b) How many beads Maia has at first?

a) In the end, M has 2064-144 =1920 beads more than J

b) J + 1920 = 5J
so 4J =1920
So, J = 480
So, at first, M has 480 + 2064 = 2544 beads #
