Question

Answer

1 big = 4 small

If he repack 2 big packet into small packet, he would have 16 small packet,
2 Big = 8 Small
Therefore 16 small = 2 Big + “Small packets at 1st”
Small packets at 1st” = 16 small – 2 Big = 16 small – 8 small
= 8 packets.

If he pack the remaining big packets she would have 36 small packets altogether.
The remaining packets = 36 – 16 = 20 small packets

20 small packets = 20/4 = 5 big packets

a) So he has 7 big packets and 8 small packets.

b)7 big packets = 28 small packets (X 4)
Difference between big and small packet = 28 – 8 = 20 small packets.

20 small packet = 10 kg
1 small packet = 10/20 = 0.5 kg
1 big packet = 0.5 X 4 = 2 kg.
