Focus on the parts in green. They sum up to 135 cm.
       u + (u-40) + (u-5) = 135
                  3u - 45 = 135
                       3u = 180
Thus u = 60.

CHECK: 60 + (60-40) + (60-5) = 60 + 20 + 55 = 135.

TIPS: Since this is a multiple choice question, if you really cannot
figure out how to solve it in a test/exam, just try all 5 values and
see if they sum up to 135. :-)
