Answer

Let there be 3u of red and 1u of green at 1st.
And total apples will be 4u

2u are sold, which is half.

5/6(2u) are red sold, => 5/3(u)
1/6(2u) are Green sold,=> 1/3(u)

Leftover green = 1u – 1/3(u) = 2/3(u)
2/3(u) = 40
u = 60

a) Red apples sold = 5/3(u) = 100 ##
b) Half were unsold = 2u = 120 ###

Your branching looks good.

6u + 6u = 12u for the left branch

9u + 3u  =12u  for the right branch.

They both share common units. Looks alright.
